We have overpopulated our planet and destroyed natural safeguards for preserving fresh water while also altered the climate to such an extent that rain and snow no longer fall where they used to and fresh water is becoming scarce.
There is yet hope and there are many things we can do as individuals to change the situation. Here are a few:
Get involved with your local water boards and water use and pollution watchdog organizations; you may even run into people who share your goals and ideals.
